INTRODUCTION
NDA Stands for the National Defence Academy which Is the Joint Services academy of the Indian defence forces. National Defence Academy Trains cadets of The Army , Navy and Air force who choose their armed forces as their career before they go on to respective service academics for further training.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT NDA
have a patriotic passion to serve their country. The Candidates have to qualify the NDA entrance exam.This examination is held under the UPSC(union public service commission). This examination is conducted twice a year in the month of April and November. The candidates have to qualify the Written exam followed by SSB to get into National Defence Academy.
Some key points for eligibility for NDA after 12th
The age limit of the candidate should be 16.5 to 19 years.
The candidate should be male and unmarried.
The candidate should be 12th passed from the recognized Board.
The height of the candidate must be 157cm.
They must be indian citizen.
Candidates will be selected on basis of physical and written test.
They are given intensive education in science ,Technology ,Arts and military subjects. Apart from academic education , Candidates are also trained in outdoor skills , like Drill PT and games and also in academics. The emphasis in NDA is on character building ,mental and physical robustness, Leadership and sense of keen observation.
